Hut Builder were approached by a customer to create a simple, bespoke off-grid tiny home that would fit in perfectly with existing cabins nestled in a beautiful little spot in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
This tiny home needed to be towable over rough ground to reach secluded spots for guests to enjoy in the summer months. As a result the design incorporated more ground clearance than usual.
Working to a tight budget and planning requirements, this tiny home represents a ‘bare-bones’ build using reclaimed windows and door with various materials including sheep’s wool insulation provided by the customer. It will soon be available for rent and we can thoroughly recommend it for an off-grid escape.
